About the Role
As a Flight Sciences Structural Loads and Dynamics Engineer, you will work within a small team of Structural Discipline Engineers focusing on F-35 Envelope Expansion and Flight Sciences Weapons Integration. Your responsibilities will include developing system design, testing, and certification plans, conducting pre-flight load predictions, and maintaining technical documentation. You will also track instrumentation sensor placement and ensure compliance with safety protocols and airworthiness regulations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or related STEM discipline.
- Demonstrated application with statics, dynamics, fluid mechanics, or aerodynamics.
- Experience interfacing with DoD Customers and suppliers.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Preferred:
- Envelope expansion experience.
- Experience with IADS real time and test data request post flight test tools.
- Experience in static loads analysis, structural analysis, aero/performance, stability and control, mass properties.
- Experience leading a team providing technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers.
