About the Role
As a Flight Test Instrumentation Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of Data Acquisition Systems for civil and military aviation programs. Your tasks will include collaborating with various internal teams to ensure readiness for flight test activities, coordinating aircraft setup configurations, providing direction to technical staff, and generating wiring schematics using 2D and 3D tools.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in Flight Test Instrumentation or related industry experience.
- Experience with airborne data acquisition systems.
Preferred:
- Experience with Curtiss-Wright, Safran, and Quasonix equipment.
- Familiarity with instrumentation sensor applications such as strain gauges and accelerometers.
- Knowledge of bus protocols like 1553-B and ARINC-429.
