Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist - PRN/Per Diem to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The role involves providing exceptional customer service and performing skilled specimen collections.
About the Role
As a Float Phlebotomist, you will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office, performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. You will also collect specimens for various tests, perform data entry of patient information, process billing information, and maintain patient and specimen logs. This position requires travel to additional sites as needed and offers opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced / high-volume work environment.
Preferred:
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist, with at least 1 year preferred.
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
