NORTON ENERGY DRILLING, LLC is seeking a Floorhand to join their team in Lubbock, TX. The role involves performing various physical tasks on a drilling rig and requires no prior experience as training will be provided.
About the Role
As a Floorhand, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on the drilling rig, including making connections while drilling, changing bits, cleaning and maintaining the rig, and assisting in rigging operations. You will work 12-hour shifts outdoors in all weather conditions and must be able to lift heavy equipment. The position requires you to reside within a 4-hour radius of Levelland, TX and involves a work schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off.
About You
Required:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 100 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 125 lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
