About the Role
As a Food Service Aide, you will be responsible for assisting patients with meal orders using a computerized system, verifying meal accuracy, and addressing foodservice concerns. You will also assemble and deliver trays according to dietary guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The position requires physical activity, including walking and standing for extended periods.
About You
Required:
- Able to communicate in English.
- Ability to communicate with customers professionally and efficiently.
- Ability to handle customer interactions in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use common software applications and hardware.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets.
- Ability to effectively multi-task.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- High School Grad or Equivalent.
- 2+ years in the food service industry.
- Food Safety Handler Certificate.
- Certified Food Safety Manager.
