About the Role
As a Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for assembling patient meal trays according to dietary guidelines, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, operating the dish machine, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You will also monitor expiration dates, restock supplies, and participate in department training.

Required:
- Basic verbal, electronic and written communications skills using the English language.
- Basic computer skills or ability to learn.
- Time management & punctuality.
- Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse population.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- One-year previous food service experience preferably in healthcare setting.
- ServSafe Food Handlers certification.
