About the Role
As a Food Service Assistant, you will supervise inmate workers in meal preparation, dishwashing, sanitation, and kitchen maintenance. You will review and implement daily menu instructions, maintain food service security, oversee proper storage of food items, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Additionally, you will coordinate cleaning and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current ServSafe certification or able to obtain within 12 months of employment.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have held it for at least 2 years.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to supervise inmate workers.
