Hawai`i State Judiciary is seeking a Forensic Interview Specialist (DL) to join their team in Honolulu, HI. The role involves conducting forensic interviews of alleged child abuse victims and witnesses, testifying in court, and providing training and consultation.
About the Role
As a Forensic Interview Specialist, you will conduct developmentally appropriate, video recorded forensic interviews of alleged child abuse victims and/or child witnesses to crimes. You will also assist with the coordination of child abuse cases, provide training and consultation in forensic interviews, and perform other related duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree in psychology, child development, social work, criminal justice or a related field.
Two and one-half (2-1/2) years of progressively responsible professional child interviewing experience.
Preferred:
Possession of a master's degree in psychology, child development, social work, criminal justice or a related field.
Possession of a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
