About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely bringing raw materials to the production floor and returning finished products to the warehouse. Your daily tasks will include operating forklifts, performing daily inspections, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring compliance with safety policies. You will also assist with inventory management and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must qualify for forklift license/certification on site.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. infrequently.
- Good attendance and punctuality required.
Preferred:
- Prior one year experience driving a forklift, but can be waived with demonstrated proficiency.
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision after the initial training period.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and motivate others within the team.
