Summary
International Paper is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team in Eighty Four, PA. The role involves safely operating a sit-down powered industrial truck and managing incoming and outgoing shipments.
About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for verifying and maintaining records on shipments, loading and unloading trailers, completing pre-start maintenance inspections, and following safety protocols. You will also perform other duties as assigned by supervision in a fast-paced environment.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT).
- Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing or labor-intensive work environment.
Preferred:
- Background as an order picker.
- Experience in a corrugated industry manufacturing environment.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
