About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in software development, testing, and integration while collaborating with experienced engineers. Your responsibilities will include designing and testing software components for autonomous systems, optimizing algorithms for real-time decision-making, and participating in hardware-in-the-loop testing. You will also troubleshoot issues during deployments and contribute to technical documentation.
About You
Required:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming skills in Python, C++, Typescript, Javascript, or Rust.
- Basic understanding of robotics principles, autonomous systems, and sensor technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for field testing of ASV systems.
