Summary
Infinite is seeking a Founding Engineer to join their team in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role involves defining, building, and maintaining the technical foundation of their stablecoin payment processing platform.
About the Role
As a Founding Engineer, you will take ownership of architecture, implementation, and production reliability for mission-critical services. Your responsibilities include designing and operating complete services, developing highly available event-driven systems, embedding with customers for feedback, and making technical decisions on technology selection.
About You
Required:
- 2–5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including the delivery of 0-to-1 products and scaling them in production.
- Proficiency in at least two of: Next.js/TypeScript, C#, Go, Python.
- Hands-on expertise with asynchronous and event-driven architectures.
- Full-stack ownership spanning modern front-end frameworks, back-end services, and cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Proven expertise with AI-assisted development tools, especially Cursor or windsurf.
- Practical experience deploying lightweight machine-learning models for real-time anomaly detection.
- Experience designing and contributing to fintech, payments, or ledgering systems.
- Experience integrating banking, payments, or compliance providers.
- Prior leadership or mentorship in a high-growth engineering team.
