ClearanceJobs is assisting in filling an FPGA Developer position to support the development of a National Security Information System. The role is available ON-SITE in Arlington, VA, Annapolis Junction, MD, or Denver, CO, with an expected duration of 3 – 5 years.

About the Role

As an FPGA Developer, you will design and implement Register Transfer Level (RTL) for high-speed networking applications, develop custom IP cores, integrate third-party IP, ensure timing closure across complex designs, and work closely with hardware and software engineers in a classified environment. You will also oversee FPGA implementation and optimization while supporting design verification and debug efforts.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering.
7+ years of FPGA development experience.
Proficiency in System Verilog and RTL programming.
Extensive experience with Xilinx/Intel FPGA design tools and high-speed interfaces (DDR).

Preferred:

Experience with high assurance development and/or verification and validation for Intelligence Community.
Knowledge of network security applications, networking protocols and standards, and scripting languages (Python, PERL, Tcl).
Familiarity with hardware security requirements.
