About the Role
As a Front Office Specialist and Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for checking in patients, documenting care, triaging calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting with medical procedures. You will work collaboratively within a team to ensure quality patient care while adhering to HIPAA and JCAHO protocols.
About You
Required:
- High School Degree
- 1-2 years experience in a related field
- Knowledge of medical records and filing systems
- Ability to perform EKGs and vital sign checks
Preferred:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Experience with patient triage and handling complaints
- Familiarity with quality improvement processes
