About the Role
As a FT Certified Surgical Tech, you will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring the operating room is prepared, and maintaining a sterile environment. You will work closely with surgeons and other medical staff to provide high-quality care and support to patients throughout their surgical experience.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification as required by state and/or center.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and engage with patients.
