TDK Corporation of America is seeking a FTZ and Duty Drawback Coordinator to join their team in Lincolnshire, IL. The role involves providing operational and administrative support for the company's Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and Duty Drawback programs.
About the Role
As a FTZ and Duty Drawback Coordinator, you will assist with the daily execution of the duty drawback program, maintain audit-ready documentation, coordinate with external brokers, and ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. Your responsibilities will include claim documentation, broker coordination, recordkeeping, reporting, and discrepancy resolution, as well as daily administrative support for FTZ activities such as admissions, inventory control, and procedural adherence.
About You
Required:
3-5 years of relevant experience in logistics, global trade compliance, or a related administrative support role.
Foundational understanding of the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and the ability to interpret CBP regulations (Title 19, CFR).
Experience with trade management software (e.g., FTZ systems, Drawback systems) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for coordinating with external partners and internal departments.
