Summary
Naperville Park District is seeking a Full Facility Lifeguard to ensure the safety of all patrons at Centennial Beach in Naperville, IL.
About the Role
As a Full Facility Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring water depths, preventing accidents, responding to aquatic emergencies, enforcing safety rules, and maintaining safety equipment. You will also participate in training sessions and collaborate with other staff to provide a safe and clean environment for guests.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 16 years old by the completion of training.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Facilities Lifeguard Ellis & Associates certification, including First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Scuba certification as required.
- Ability to maintain readiness in handling emergency situations.
- Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns.
- Ability to pass the vigorous pre-season training.
- Vision and sight (corrected, if necessary) to perform essential functions of the job.
