Summary
CapTech is seeking a Full-Stack Developer (Java) to join their team in Reston, VA. The role involves partnering with clients on team-based projects to deliver solutions across the full Software Development Lifecycle using modern technology languages and frameworks.
About the Role
As a Full-Stack Developer, you will thrive in a collaborative environment, delivering API-driven clients, microservice architectures, and cloud deployments. You will work with technologies such as Java, REST, GraphQL, and various database technologies, while also engaging in CI/CD practices and containerization.
About You
Required:
- Experience with Java programming, including popular open-source libraries and frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.)
- Applied knowledge of API Development using REST and/or GraphQL
- Familiarity with microservice architectures, design patterns, and monitoring tools
- Experience with database technologies, both traditional (RDMS) and current (NoSQL)
- Experience with cloud providers like Azure, AWS, and/or GCP and familiarity with serverless technologies
- Working knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps
- Familiarity or exposure to programming with HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks
Preferred:
- Experience with streaming platforms and data engineering such as Apache Kafka or Apache Spark
