Summary
Prescient Edge is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support a federal government client in McLean, VA. The role involves creating prototype modeling and simulation software GUI for satellite data and implementing secure software solutions.
About the Role
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing, coding, integrating, and implementing software solutions. Your tasks will include developing efficient Python code, maintaining web architecture, performing data engineering tasks, and collaborating in AGILE scrum for product development. You will also design and prototype distributed caching frameworks and work with Kubernetes services.
About You
Required:
- 8+ years' experience with designing, building, and modifying standalone application software.
- 10+ years’ professional experience within software development & engineering fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other relevant engineering degree.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred:
- Experience implementing and maintaining services in a CI/CD pipeline.
- Experience with software integration or testing, including analyzing and implementing test plans and scripts.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Rust, SQL, C++, PowerShell, C#, and JavaScript.
- Additional certifications and coursework related to orbital mechanics, software engineering, AWS cloud computing.
