Local Infusion is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their team in Alexandria, VA. The role involves providing direct patient care in infusion therapy, ensuring high-quality care for patients with chronic autoimmune diseases.
About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering in-person infusion care, communicating effectively with patients, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Your time will be divided between clinical responsibilities (80%) and quality & compliance tasks (20%). You will also onboard new Medicare patients and serve as a resource for patient education.
About You
Required:
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
- Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care
- Strong clinical judgment with IV therapy experience
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Preferred:
- Experience with Medicare documentation and quality/compliance processes
