About the Role
As a Functional Safety Senior Project Engineer, you will lead the development and review of safety processes and management for clients, employing established methods and frameworks relevant to functional safety. You will conduct training events, provide mentorship, and lead business development activities. The role requires regular interaction with clients and may involve travel to client sites. You will also contribute to the development of technical standards and represent UL at industry functions.
About You
Required:
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 8 or more years of industrial functional safety experience.
- Detailed knowledge of technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline.
- Working knowledge of conformity standards in use in area of expertise.
Preferred:
- Experience with safety analysis methods such as FMEA, FMEDA, and FTA.
- Demonstrated ability to apply project-handling concepts in the area of expertise.
