State Street is seeking a Vice President for Fund Accounting & Administration to join their Private Markets division in Kansas City, MO. The role involves supervising staff, managing client relationships, and delivering accounting and reporting services.
About the Role
As a Vice President in Fund Accounting & Administration, you will supervise lower-level staff, manage client relationships, review financial work papers and statements, coordinate audits, and ensure compliance with investment fund legal documents. You will also handle special client projects and manage internal workflows and deadlines.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 12+ years of general ledger accounting or audit experience.
- 6+ years of leadership experience.
- Previous financial reporting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
Preferred:
- Real Estate, Fund, or Private Equity accounting experience.
- CPA or CPA Candidate.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with Investran, Great Plains, and Oracle Financials.
