About the Role
As a Fund Controller, you will work with team members to oversee fund accounting, capital account maintenance, and financial statement preparation. Your responsibilities will include supervising the audit and tax preparation process, assisting with capital calls and distributions, managing portfolio company financings, cash flow management, and maintaining investor information in third-party software systems. Some local travel to client sites may be required.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- 2+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
Preferred:
- CPA certification.
- Previous experience in Private Equity/VC and knowledge of Partnership Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks.
