About the Role
As a Funeral Director, you will supervise and care for the deceased, perform various preparation tasks, manage documentation related to funeral services, assist families with insurance and paperwork, and build community relationships. You will also promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all regulations.
About You
Required:
- Degree from an Accredited Mortuary Science Program plus additional college credits as required in the applicable state.
- Successful completion of the National Board Examination after internship completion.
- Successful completion of the applicable State Board Examination after internship completion.
- Valid Funeral Director and/or Embalmer State Licensure after internship completion.
- Valid Driver's License.
Preferred:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with MS Office and social media platforms.
- Strong organizational and conflict resolution skills.
