About the Role
As a GenAI Engineering Project Manager, you will lead complex cross-functional programs, manage program timelines, facilitate meetings across teams, and ensure quality criteria are met. You will be responsible for building and managing GenAI-based conversational AI systems for various business groups within Apple, focusing on automating contact center use cases and addressing other complex business challenges.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in technical program or project management.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing programs within the Machine Learning, Data Science, or Generative AI domain.
- Deep conceptual understanding of the Generative AI architecture (LLMs, Embeddings, Vector Databases, RAG).
- Experience in leading programs in waterfall, scaled agile, and agile modes.
Preferred:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to juggle and complete multiple tasks.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
- Proficient at managing multiple global efforts simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
- Engineering/Technical background preferred.
