Summary
Honeywell is seeking a General Counsel - Antitrust for their Aerospace division, a newly-formed public company with $17B annual revenues, to lead all aspects of antitrust practice.
About the Role
In this role, you will refine and implement the legal and compliance antitrust enterprise strategy for Honeywell Aerospace, ensuring compliance across M&A transactions, channel strategies, and joint ventures. You will assess and design the global antitrust compliance program, conduct risk assessments, deliver training, and serve as lead counsel on mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, you will provide business unit counseling and manage regulatory interfaces with competition authorities worldwide.
About You
Required:
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
- Minimum of 10 years of substantive antitrust and competition law experience, particularly in aerospace or defense industries.
- Deep expertise in U.S. and international merger control regimes and antitrust compliance programs.
- Experience managing cross-border competition matters and interfacing with competition regulators.
Preferred:
- Prior in-house experience at a highly regulated manufacturing company.
- Experience with government contracts and defense procurement.
- Working knowledge of international cartel enforcement regimes.
- Prior government service at a competition enforcement agency.
