About the Role
As a General Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks that require practical skills in trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Your duties will include replacing electrical components, patching walls, repairing sinks and toilets, painting, and ensuring work areas are cleaned after maintenance tasks. You will also need to adhere to safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- Experience in general maintenance, facilities repair, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools commonly used in building and equipment maintenance.
- Understanding of safety procedures and ability to work in compliance with OSHA and workplace safety regulations.
- Must be able to travel to different site locations (Tucson/Yuma) to provide in-person support.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Public Trust background check.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record.
