Elephant Energy is seeking a General Manager to join their team in Boston, MA. The role involves building a profitable business, cultivating partnerships, and creating exceptional experiences for customers and trade partners in the Boston market.
About the Role
As a General Manager, you will report to the co-founder and be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, managing sales and delivery teams, and driving market profitability. You will identify growth opportunities, negotiate partnerships, and optimize processes while collaborating with centralized teams. Success will be measured by meeting P&L goals, delivering projects on time and within budget, and building strong relationships in the market.
About You
Required:
Experience in change management and leading teams through evolving goals.
Proven deal-making skills with a track record of negotiating partnerships and contracts.
Deep knowledge of the home services landscape, including permitting and lead generation.
Sales acumen with experience in building and closing a sales pipeline.
Strong team leadership skills with the ability to coach for performance.
Preferred:
Experience in solar, HVAC, or similar industries.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Multilingual skills to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.
