World is seeking a General Manager, US to lead and scale their operations across the United States, a key market for their innovative human verification technology.
About the Role
As the General Manager for the US, you will develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, ensure operational excellence, and drive sustainable user growth. You will manage relationships with operational partners and stakeholders, oversee the onboarding of Operators, and represent World publicly. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to establish World’s presence in the US market.
About You
Required:
BSc degree from a top-tier institution; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
10+ years of relevant experience with proven success in scaling operations in the US.
5+ years of management experience with a track record of building and leading operational teams.
Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills with experience in public representation.
Preferred:
Experience in a fast-moving, dynamic team environment.
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and contribute to unconventional problem-solving.
Experience in managing high-performing relationships with cross-functional teams.
