As a Girls Youth Specialist, ILP, you will be responsible for advocating for residents, ensuring their developmental and cultural adjustment needs are met, and developing therapeutic relationships. You will participate in activities, oversee daily routines, and maintain a safe environment while following agency and regulatory guidelines.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality.
- Must be able to pass required medical examinations and have the physical ability to fulfill essential job functions.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s level degree from an accredited college.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Prior experience working with youth from diverse cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to nurture and provide structure, support, and respect to others.
