About the Role
As the Global Chief Underwriting Officer, you will provide strategic oversight of portfolio direction, ensuring disciplined capital deployment while supporting sustainable long-term performance and innovation. Key responsibilities include driving global underwriting standards, optimizing operational processes, supporting product development, and influencing portfolio performance through close interactions with underwriting teams.
About You
Required:
- Proven and established Casualty underwriting experience.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to build a diverse global network.
- Excellent collaborative skills and ability to build virtual teams.
- Superior interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Continuing education or professional designations in insurance underwriting and information privacy including, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) / Chartered Insurer (ACII).
