About the Role
As a Global Security Operations Center Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring databases, CCTV, and technology tools for security threats. You will coordinate and execute security protocols during emergencies, assist with intelligence briefings, and ensure the safety of employees and assets. This position requires effective communication and decision-making during heightened security situations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years experience working in a GSOC or a similar security environment.
- Experience in security operations, law enforcement, military, or emergency response.
- Comprehensive understanding of GSOC policies and procedures and industry best practices.
- Strong knowledge of technology tools and databases, CCTV, and incident response.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence, Security Studies, Computer Science, Political Science, Emergency Management or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research skills with experience utilizing various databases and social media platforms.
- Ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Security experience in an industrial, aerospace, or manufacturing environment.
- Certifications such as ASIS CPP, PSP, or Certified Security Operations Center Analyst (CSOCA).
