About the Role
As a GM GRS Certified Robot Technician, you will maintain and support multiple automated robotic welding cells, troubleshoot FANUC robots, and restore systems to operational status. Your responsibilities will include performing intermediate robot programming, conducting TCP verification, executing basic offline programming, and troubleshooting various welding systems. You will also read and interpret electrical schematics, support hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of FANUC robot troubleshooting experience.
- Strong robotic welding troubleshooting background.
- Ability to modify robot programs.
- Knowledge of electronics and electrical circuitry.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled automated systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot resistance and MIG welding systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- GM Experience.
- GM GRS Certification (with documented proof).
- GM MPS Certification (with documented proof).
- Mechatronics certificate or Journeyperson card.
- Associate’s Degree in Mechatronics / Controls / Maintenance.
- Industrial Maintenance / Machine Repair / Electrician background.
- Bin Picking experience.
