Summary
Belcan is seeking a GN&C Engineer to join their team at Edwards AFB, CA. The role involves designing, testing, and supporting military navigation and guidance systems.
About the Role
As a GN&C Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and testing military navigation and guidance systems, developing requirements verification methods, supporting flight testing of critical flight systems, and analyzing GNC system functionality to identify gaps and resolve issues. You will work closely with customers to analyze data to improve and enhance system requirements and functionality.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Software, Systems or Aerospace engineering.
- At least 5+ years of experience developing requirements, designing, and testing navigation and guidance systems.
- Current Secret Clearance is required.
- US Citizenship is a requirement.
Preferred:
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinker.
- Experience with military systems and aircraft flight testing.
- Skills in MATLAB/Simulink, C++, GitLab, Git, Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence).
- Experience in flight test support and multi-disciplinary design teams.
