Summary
United Ag & Turf is seeking a Golf Field Technician to join their team in the Lubbock-Levelland Area. The role involves performing in-field diagnostics and repairs on Golf & Sports Turf equipment using a mobile service vehicle.
About the Role
As a Golf Field Technician, you will independently diagnose and repair John Deere equipment and technology in the field. You will maintain an accurate inventory of parts, mentor junior technicians, and ensure thorough documentation of all work performed. The position requires effective communication with customers and adherence to safety regulations while maintaining a clean work environment.
About You
Required:
- 4+ years of experience performing service repairs.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred.
Preferred:
- Experience performing repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
- Golf and reel mowing experience.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in golf, off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment.
- Experience using Service ADVISOR™ or other computer-based diagnostic repair tools.
