Intel Corporation is seeking a Government Cyber Security Analyst to join their team in Hillsboro, OR. The role involves supporting U.S. Government contracts by ensuring IT systems are securely deployed and managed in compliance with established policies and standards.
About the Role
As a Government Cyber Security Analyst, you will participate in security reviews, install and harden IT systems, remediate vulnerabilities, monitor and maintain IT systems, and develop documentation. You will apply knowledge of NIST 800-53 and other security frameworks to support secure operations on both Windows and Linux systems.
About You
Required:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain an active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in Government IT and Information Security, or a High School Diploma with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years experience as a System Administrator.
- Experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
- Experience in hardening systems and applying information security controls.
Preferred:
- Experience implementing NIST 800-53 security controls.
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CASP, CISSP).
- Relevant security certifications and OS specific certification.
- Experience with RMF as it relates to Systems Administration.
- Experience using security tools for audit reduction and vulnerability management.
- Understanding of cloud security principles and experience with cloud service providers.
