About the Role
As a Senior in the GPS Financial Accounting Advisory Services team, you will be the primary contact for clients, focusing on data integrity and quality to enhance reliable reporting. You will engage with clients, provide authoritative advice, and develop your understanding of market trends while mentoring junior colleagues.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- At least 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience applying US Governmental GAAP, GASB standards, Financial and Single Audit.
- Pursuing a CPA certification.
- Experience with preparation and/or auditing of Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and Financial audit for State, Local Government, Educational Institutions and Not for Profit.
- Advanced data analytics knowledge and data visualization skills.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Understanding of compliance requirements for Federal and state grants.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
Preferred:
- US CPA licensure in your work state.
- CGFM and/or CDFM.
