Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a GPU Performance Analysis Engineer to join their Engineering Group in San Diego, CA. The role involves contributing to performance analysis at the GPU level for graphics and raytracing workloads to enhance next-generation GPUs.
About the Role
As a GPU Performance Analysis Engineer, you will have a critical impact on influencing the efficiency of next-generation GPUs. Your responsibilities will include performance analysis for graphics and raytracing workloads, developing tools for debugging and validation, and supporting presilicon workload enablement efforts. You will also need to understand GPU bottlenecks and rendering pipelines, and be able to write rendering applications using graphics APIs such as Vulkan.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of GPU architecture and rendering applications using Vulkan and other graphics APIs.
Proficiency in Python and C++.
Experience in performance analysis and analytical skills.
Fluency in using AI tools for coding/debugging.
Preferred:
Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field.
3-7 years of relevant experience.
Experience with Android and GFXR capture/playback for Vulkan.
Post-silicon debugging experience.
