Summary
The Encompass Group is seeking a Graphic Designer (Signage + EGD) to join their dynamic team in Tampa, FL. The role involves designing and developing signage and environmental graphic design packages for various projects.
About the Role
As a Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with architects and interior designers to create integrated design solutions. Your responsibilities will include producing concept designs, schematic layouts, and detailed design intent documents for signage and wayfinding systems, as well as coordinating with consultants and vendors to ensure design intent is realized during fabrication and installation. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creativity with deadlines and technical requirements.
About You
Required:
- 4+ years of professional experience in signage and/or environmental graphic design.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing signage, wayfinding, and branded environment work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in a design firm environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in architecture or multidisciplinary design studios.
- Experience with Revit.
