Summary
Alzheimer's Association® is seeking a Grassroots Advocacy Manager to join their team in North Carolina. The role involves managing state and federal grassroots advocacy activities to advance public policy and strengthen relationships with policymakers.
About the Role
As a Grassroots Advocacy Manager, you will develop and implement grassroots advocacy strategies, recruit and train advocate volunteers, and manage community engagement efforts. You will work closely with local chapter leaders and colleagues to promote the Association's policy priorities and ensure compliance with advocacy activities.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 5 years experience in grassroots advocacy, volunteer engagement, or community organizing, preferably with non-profit organizations.
Preferred:
- Experience in developing nonpartisan grassroots advocacy strategies.
- Familiarity with aging, health, and long-term care issues.
