Summary
Intuitive Machines is seeking a Ground Stations Engineering Intern to join their team in Houston, Texas for Summer 2026. The role involves supporting the development and testing of a commercial Telemetry, Tracking and Control (TT&C) network of ground stations.
About the Role
As a Ground Stations Engineering Intern, you will assist in the development and execution of test plans for ground station hardware, help develop real-time operations products, and work with stakeholders to integrate ground software and network automation. You will participate in Integration & Verification activities under the supervision of senior engineers.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong enthusiasm for space exploration and communication systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred:
- Basic understanding of ground stations, satellite communication, or networking protocols.
- Program or coursework around ground stations in university or in another setting.
- Programming skills or familiarity with some of the cross functional disciplines such as avionics, radio frequency, etc.
