Intuitive Machines is seeking a Ground Stations Engineering Intern to join their team in Houston, Texas for Summer 2026. The role involves supporting the development and testing of a commercial Telemetry, Tracking and Control (TT&C) network of ground stations.
About the Role
As a Ground Stations Engineering Intern, you will assist in the development and execution of test plans for ground station hardware, help develop real-time operations products, and work with stakeholders to integrate ground software and network automation. You will participate in Integration & Verification activities under the supervision of senior engineers.
About You
Required:
Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong enthusiasm for space exploration and communication systems.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred:
Basic understanding of ground stations, satellite communication, or networking protocols.
Program or coursework around ground stations in university or in another setting.
Programming skills or familiarity with some of the cross functional disciplines such as avionics, radio frequency, etc.
