Summary
Brethren Care Village is seeking a Grounds/Facility Maintenance Technician to join their team in Ashland, OH. The role involves maintaining facility equipment, buildings, and grounds in a safe and efficient manner.
About the Role
As a Grounds/Facility Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and driveways, including cutting, trimming, and snow removal. You will also conduct repairs on facility equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks. Additional responsibilities include cleaning, servicing heating/cooling units, painting, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. You will report any issues to the Director of Facilities and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 100 pounds with or without assistance
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical ability
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
Preferred:
- Prior experience in general maintenance
