About the Role
As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will design and prepare class routines, engage with members before and after classes, maintain attendance records, and ensure the cleanliness of the exercise area. You will instruct a minimum of two classes per week and participate in continuing education and staff meetings as required.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- CPR, First Aid, AED certification required, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Approved Group Fitness Instructor Certification required.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to promote programs and services.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working with diverse populations.
- Basic computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Enthusiastic and supportive attitude.
