About the Role
As a Group Leader: AFTERSCHOOL, you will provide constant supervision of assigned groups of children, ensure their safety, and participate in academic, recreational, creative, and artistic activities. You will also plan and implement age-appropriate activities, record attendance, motivate participants, and coordinate special events. Additionally, you will work closely with site-based staff and maintain the general upkeep of the program space.
About You
Required:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Experience working with children under 13 years of age.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and reading skills.
Preferred:
- AA, BA or BS in Education, Child Development or related field.
- Previous experience working in an arts-related environment.
- Commitment to work from a strength-based and/or youth development perspective.
