Summary
Google is seeking a Growth Consultant for AppDev within Google Customer Solutions to join their team in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on optimizing user acquisition strategies and delivering data science consulting projects.
About the Role
As a Growth Consultant, you will partner with sophisticated Apps customers in AMER and LATAM to optimize user acquisition strategies using Google Ads. Your responsibilities include delivering data science and measurement consulting projects, leading hypothesis-driven analysis, and developing Python or SQL scripts for advanced reporting and ad tech automation. You will leverage cloud infrastructure and AI technologies to solve complex problems and provide strategic recommendations, while collaborating with cross-functional leadership to identify growth opportunities and execute strategic projects.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in cloud, consulting, business or media analytics, digital media, marketing, financial analysis, or another quantitative field.
- Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data, or with other programming or scripting languages such as R, Python or ad tech automation.
Preferred:
- Experience with Cloud platforms or a foundational understanding of AI principles and their application to business growth.
- Experience in consulting business or data science to influence changes in their resource and budget allocations.
- Experience with machine learning methodologies including data cleansing, normalization, feature engineering, model training/validation and automation.
- Knowledge of statistical modeling and quantitative analysis techniques and ability to analyze datasets with the goal of delivering insights.
- Ability to communicate in Portuguese and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and investigative skills.
