Summary
Intercom is seeking a GTM Finance Manager to join their team in San Francisco, CA. The role involves owning financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational finance support for Intercom’s Go-To-Market organization.
About the Role
As a GTM Finance Manager, you will manage financial planning and budgeting for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. Your responsibilities include maintaining detailed headcount and expense models, delivering Budget vs. Actuals reporting, and collaborating with senior leaders to support resource allocation and organizational planning. You will also drive improvements in planning systems and forecasting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
About You
Required:
- 6+ years of FP&A, business partnering, or corporate finance experience, ideally in high-growth software / SaaS environments.
- Proven experience owning budgets and headcount planning end-to-end.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills with the ability to build structured, scalable models.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to forecast accuracy.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success teams.
- Experience with planning tools (e.g., Pigment) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
