About the Role
As a Guaranteed Hours Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering personal care, home management tasks, and nurse-delegated tasks to clients. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including those with special needs, and must be available to work on weekdays, evenings, overnights, and weekends on an on-call basis. The position requires driving to clients' locations within the service territory, and you may be on standby to work as needed.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 6 months hands-on experience with Assisted Care.
- Ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly manner.
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen.
Preferred:
- Experience working with clients exhibiting challenging behavior such as Alzheimer's or dementia.
- Willingness to work with clients who smoke or have pets.
