Summary
Serco is seeking a Strength & Conditioning Coach to join their team at Fort Bliss, TX. The role focuses on developing and overseeing strength and conditioning programs to enhance Soldier performance and reduce injury risks.
About the Role
As a Strength & Conditioning Coach, you will design and administer training programs compliant with NSCA CSCS or CSCCa SCCC standards, ensure program quality assurance, participate in meetings with the Brigade Program Director, document Soldier progression, manage equipment operations, develop training for Soldiers with physical limitations, mentor unit fitness leaders, collect performance data, and coordinate facility scheduling.
About You
Required:
- Legal status to work in the US | US Citizen for overseas positions.
- A bachelor’s degree in any field.
- A minimum of three years of relevant SCC work experience within the last 5 years.
- Active/current NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or CSCCa Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC).
- Active/current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR/AED certification.
- Ability to handle loads up to 45 pounds and perform outdoor training in various environments.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, as required.
- A valid driver’s license with no restrictions against driving on federal installations.
Preferred:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Active NACI.
