Summary
JRC Integrated Systems is seeking a Hardware/Software Integration Engineer - Missile Instrumentation Systems to join their team in Cape Canaveral, FL. The role involves supporting Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) modernization efforts for the Trident D5 missile.
About the Role
As a Hardware/Software Integration Engineer, you will directly support the government customer in overseeing and advising all aspects of product design and integration, including requirements definition, design reviews, experiments, prototyping, testing, production, and integration. You will collaborate with multiple SSP industry partners, provide technical expertise in design reviews and requirements development, and mentor new employees and junior engineers.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in systems engineering and/or bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science.
- 9+ years of experience in US Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile avionics and Electrical Ground Support Equipment integration.
- An active DoD security clearance at the TOP SECRET level.
Preferred:
- Agile Workflow experience using JIRA, JavaScript or similar software.
- Experience with CAMEO, Python, MATLAB, C++, Windchill EPDM, Eclipse, Model Based System Engineering.
