About the Role
As a Hardware Prototyping Engineer, you will be responsible for building physical mockups and prototypes, maintaining 3D printers and fabrication equipment, managing lab inventory, and ensuring a safe and organized lab environment. You will collaborate with engineers to translate CAD models into prototypes, support engineering testing, and document fabrication processes.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related field, or equivalent work/industry experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a lab, manufacturing, prototyping, or technical support role.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLA, or similar).
- Experience with basic electronics assembly, soldering, and mechanical assembly of prototypes.
